Hi From Jared

I had a dentist appointment yesterday. They gave me some stuff (pre-med -L) and they gave me the gel but the needle still hurt. When they used the drill it kind of hurt. Then they got some sealy stuff to fill my tooth. After that I felt kind of drowsy. I fell asleep in the car when we went to Nanny and Poppy's. Then I woke up at 5pm, then I went to bed and didn't get up until 8.30am today.

I'm still doing Lion training because it's fun. We got new lions and pants like the seniors wear under the lions. They were blessed three weeks ago.

Last Wednesday was my birthday, thank you for the happy birthday wishes. I have $105 now. I'm going to spend it on great stuff. Thank you to Damien and Cheryl for the official soccer t-shirt. I got 5 t-shirts, a stripy jacket, a soccer ball, a Holden mug, glo-stix, a drawing book and crayons and new shoes. Thank you Nanny and Poppy for the tool kit.

  1. Hi Jared,

Wow, sounds like you got lots of cool stuff for your birthday! Keep your eyes on the post for your present from Glenn, Dee and me. *grin*

I'm looking forward to seeing some photos of the Lion dancing. You'd better make sure that your Mum or Adam take some good ones at the Easter parade.

I started going to the gym. It's probably not as energetic as your Lion dancing, but most of the classes are pretty tiring. I did a circuit class last week and the instructor made us do LOTS of running. I don't really like running - I'm not good at it. So I guess I should practice more. Maybe I'll try this week - start small and short.

You'll have to keep posting about how you're going. It's good to hear from you.

    *hugz*

  2. Yeah, the needle always hurts, no matter how long they leave the gel (or the swabby thing). Still, it's one of those things -- not many people like going to the dentist, but we'd probably get used to it if we went more often. Well done for being brave!

I should go to a dentist soon too, I think. My fillings are still made out of some kind of metal, and they're all ceramics these days! Perhaps I can get a little wifi receiver put in there, wire it directly into my brain, be online all the time? Yep, I've been reading too much of Gibson's "Neuromancer" ...
