weigh-in, music and footy

I thought I would wait until today so I could post a bit about everything. On Wednesday I actually remembered to take Trinity to the Health Centre. She now weighs 9.6kg, so my guess on Tuesday of "about 10 kilos" was pretty close. She's slowed down a bit on the growing so she still fits into some zeros (especially Target, their sizes are really big)
Last night was the Bendigo Instrumental Music Program concert (phew, that's a mouthful) Carolynn was going to 'music camp' from Tuesday to Friday this week, and the concert was to showcase all the kids had learnt. Mum, Dad and Nanna all came too, and it was good, if a really long night. Carolynn said she messed up one song, but I didn't notice so I'm sure no-one else watching did either.
And finally, Jared had a 9am footy game today, which they 'lost' (it's just for fun, remember) I think the other team got 13 3 to White Hills 1 point (on the bright side, Jared kicked the point) I hope they win a game this season, just one would be nice *grin* Although I did think in the future Jared could become a footy star, and his story would start "We lost every game the first season I played" That would be funny!!!

  1. They tackled us that's why we lost. It should be a non-contact sport but one kid got badly hurt when he got knocked over. Please do not put any comments about footy.

  2. Congratulations on getting the score Jared. Carolynn's concert last night was very good. Today Nana and I went to the Craft Show. We had a lovely day and Nana made a card. I bought a bracelet and some fancy lace fabric. Now I need to decide what i'll do with it. Les progressed further with the water feature. we ordered the pump but are still waiting for it to arrive.

  3. Hey Jared, well done to you for going out there and playing, especially when you're playing a team that cheats. You should be proud of yourself!
Carolynn music camp sounds like it would be fun, were you still playing the flute? I'll bet you've improved a lot since we saw you last, and you were already pretty good ;) And Trinity.. well, keep right on growing little lady :D
Thanks for the kids update Lisa, but what about you and Adam? What have you guys been doing.. apart from all the concerts and weighings and football matches of course :)

  4. what is there besides activities that involve the kids?? lol... i took the kids to the botanical gardens to meet some friends, that's 2 weeks in a row for us, now to get adam out there too! both times we have bought chips, and then the kids have a play, and we finish off by walking around the gardens.
