The Family Bandwagon

Our family is spread out across the country and across the world, and what better way to keep in touch than a collaborative digital journal?

You all have free movie tickets

And there's just one small issue with them. Apparently they have a typo.. so in the barcode, instead of the number 0 they have the letter "O". They're valid, they just wont scan properly.. so you can mention when you take them in that a typo is the problem, and it'll be fine.

Just so you all know (and thanks to Cheryl for finding out).

Has anyone used theirs yet? We went and saw War of the Worlds last night.. I really enjoyed it.

  1. Do I get free tickets too?

We went and saw WOTW as well ... must say I didn't like it very much. It was interesting trying to dissect it for anti-church pro-scientology imagery (and inventing it when it wasn't there), but that's about it.

  2. We posted your tickets. I'm sure of it. If you didn't get them.. bugger.

I think it was more pro-army than anything else.. but that aside, yeah, I really enjoyed it. Different strokes, ey?

  3. Yeah, I really enjoyed it too. I wasn't sure if I would cos Tom is just so disgusting! but I got over that pretty quickly :)

PS. on the ticket barcode, the "O" is the 2nd character in the code... so it should be V0 (zero)... number number etc :)

  4. timmy and i used them to go and see the Fantastic Four and had no probs using them (the ones you sent us can be used for movies still on the "no free list" - as long as you go Monday to Thursday or something. *grin*

no hassles with the barcode (but the dude did ask if we wanted to save them cos it was tight-arse tuesday and tickets were all half price anyway.. we figured we're together so little that we'd use them there and then. *grin*)

entertaining movie, if you can deal with "the invisible girl" being a rather wishy-washy character. *griN* more about the tensions between the Four rather than the usual Good vs Evil stuff.
