  1. I concur! Sorry I didn't call last night, by the time I got home from the football it was a bit too late.

  2. Not such a good birthday. Dad went to the doctor finally and he sent Dad for an abdominal ultrasound. The aorta is a little enlarged but not too much. When the doc gets the results he'll decide on what treatment dad needs since he still can't keep much solid food down. Tomato soup last night was OK. May be a very nasty gastric bug, but it's been going on weeks now. A very effective weight loss method but not much fun. His present is coming on Saturday.
He did manage to finish the side path and fix the plant stands. It looks great and we'll post photos eventually.
Thank you all for your birthday wishes.

  3. Happy birthday from me too Da ... hope you're feeling better soon! I gotta have a beer with the old man for his 60th, my 30th, in December ... so you've got a month to get back on form! :-) :-P

    Hope you enjoy your flight.

  4. Since the flight includes a cooked breakfast at the Board walk cafe, we'll wait until Dad can enjoy the whole experience before booking. He now drinks light beer and also red wine but not at the moment. See comment on next post.Been enjoying his Glenfiddich but that too needs to be postponed until the stomach is well.
