Translation of Borked text (in case you're not the Swedish Chef on the Muppets)

WE DO TOO READ IT
Mum and I are in Canberra with Dayna.
She made us weed the gardens and mow the lawns for tea today. But she also took us out shopping. The weather has been hot with a small shower of rain to water the plants left in the garden. Dayna now has a table and chairs.
Look....... Pictures of our work.

PS...Dayna did work too.

  1. If you look closely at the photos, you can see the huge piles of weeds that were taken from my garden.

The first photo is the front garden (you can see Dad's panel van in the background) with a pile of weeds that came from that side of the garden (there were way more weeds than that - i've already got a wheelie-bin full!).

The second picture is down the side of the house.. that pile of weeds includes a whole bunch of blackberry-type things that Dad and Mum managed to get out of the garden bed. Not to mention the old radishes and cauliflower.. I can make a new vege garden now (well, soon anyway)..

The third picture is my back yard - look, you can get to the washing line without needing a machete and a compass! *grin* What you can't see in the photo are the millions of snails that were discovered amongst the weeds.

    *grin*

definitely going to sleep well tonight (all of us, I'm sure...)

..o, and i accidentally "borked" the page when dad was writing his post.. and then i couldn't undo it.. oops. . *smile*

  2. Wow, that's a lot of plants!! I didn't know Canberra was a jungle, but it looks like some kind of Day of the Triffids thing was going on in your backyard.

Have you got any "before" shots?

And how did you borkify Dad's post?

  3. unfortunately i forgot to take "before" shots.. but i'm sure i could cg some for you. *grin* nasty big weeds hiding amongst my flowers (actually standing over them might be more appropriate, the bullies!)

dad had typed his post, i was on another tab and was showing how "bork" worked.. and when we went back to the post, it had been borkified too.. but it didn't change back when everything else did.. hmmm.. o well.

    ;)

  4. Nice yard! Very green.. I barely remember what green looks like now we live in SA.

I like how all the clothes on the line are varying shades of black, incidentally :)
