You probably want to check a few different sources, because Wikipedia might not be complete or 100% accurate. Plus, getting a few sources is always a good thing :-).
There will probably be a page run by the government of Timor Leste as well, it could have some useful information.
And you can always do a search from the page of one of the newspapers (like the Age) because there was a lot of news about Australia and East Timor a couple of years ago.
