No hair!

There's something glorious about the extreme sport of random hair cuts on a whim. With that in mind, i decided it was time to shave my head. It's so much breezier and easier to deal with this way. Call it my summer style :)

  1. Looking good, baby! :)

    Very nicely cut, too ;)

  2. Yes, short hair is good for hot weather, but it's not so great when it's freezing cold!!

Only problem is that it might make us look more like *gasp!* brothers. Time for me to razor-shave it all off again. And paint myself red. And pretend my head is a skittle.

    Mmmm, skittles.

  3. Speaking of skittleheads, you may notice the bit of text above the header. Rollover to change.

Dam, you can add URIs for the other versions fairly easily by editing the template (or telling me where the other versions are and a label you want). Also, can you export in SVG format from whatever app you use to create the header? I've been playing with a program called Inkscape which does SVG and I want to try some header edits!

  4. how about a skittlehead header lol.
lol about the demon baby too ;)
and cheryl, yeah, damien hair has been well cut, great job (whoever did it ;))
might have to buy him a knitted beanie if it ever gets cold lol.

  5. Lisa, can't you just knit me a beanie?

Glenn, I've done the illustrations in Flash.. which doesn't export to SVG just yet, as far as i know. But if it's SVG people with IE probably wont be able to see it.. unless they install third party software.

  7. What vector formats can Flash export? I would export to jpeg, but I need a vector format that I can import, and I thought SVG would be good since that's the native format for Inkscape.

Having a look, it may import Illustrator files too, and PDFs. Alternatively I may be able to convert the SWF to SVG (and back again?) so if you could just email me as many different vector formats as you can export I'll break out the Linuxy toolkits.

Then I can get on with the very serious business of giving everybody skittle heads and crocheted (??) beanies. Yippee!

  8. okay, now the family header has "original" and "heavy metal" but, as far as i can tell, it doesn't do anything..

    is it supposed to?

  9. i've just noticed that 'evil trin' only comes up when you mouse over the "heavy metal" bit..
..is that what it's meant to do?

  10. yeah, i think the idea is that if we have different versions, we can mouse over words to see them. so i could link the christmas header up to "christmas" and when you mouse over it'd show the santa version of the header.

We just don't have lots of versions right now.

Glenn, I'll send you a swf when i remember.. and i can export from flash to eps as well, although occasionally that stuffs up the colours.

  11. Probably not as much as I intend to stuff up the colours!

Hey, this may be the longest comment section so far. Do we all get a prize?

  12. I hope so. And i'm prepared to keep pushing the length of the comments section in hope for a bigger and better prize. Who's with me?
