tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13967566.post114591805633211336..comments2023-03-26T19:16:25.154+11:00Comments on The Family Bandwagon: Looking towards our holiday in July-AugustDaynoirhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15439190321704036289noreply@blogger.comBlogger1125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13967566.post-1145956819043803102006-04-25T19:20:00.000+10:002006-04-25T19:20:00.000+10:00ooh.. looks like you're going to have a lot of f...ooh.. looks like you're going to have a lot of fun.. <BR/><BR/>i recommend heading to <A HREF="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Werfen" REL="nofollow"> Werfen </A>in Austria for a day - I took a day trip from Salzburg.. train trip, bus, then cable-car up the mountain, then a walk up to the "world's largest ice caves" (<A HREF="http://www.eisriesenwelt.at/" REL="nofollow"> Eisriesenwelt </A>)... if you're lucky, they'll give you a piece of paper with the tour in english on it (the tour guide speaks in german).. <BR/><BR/>and then you can go into town and spend the afternoon at <A HREF="http://www.salzburg-burgen.at/englisch/index_engl.htm" REL="nofollow">Burg Hohenwerfen </A> (a real live castle!).. if you time it right, you can have a tour (with a real live tour guide (who speaks german) and big remote control looking handheld thingys that you can 'dial up' the english version).. AND get to see a Falcon show (that's the birds, not the car..heheh)..<BR/><BR/>definitely a recommend!! it's still one of the most memorable days of my trip - and that was 5 yrs ago! ;)Daynoirhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15439190321704036289noreply@blogger.com
