Chatted to Dayna and Bruce last night to sort out when I'd go to visit. Looks like leaving Melbourne on the 10th July and returning 17th August works for them. I'm not playing favourites as I'll miss all of the July birthdays except Dayna's and mine. In fact, in Australia maybe I can pretend I haven't had a birthday and just lose that one. Dayna and Bruce said I can play postman so I'd better bring an empty suitcase. It willl be summer so I won't need much??Maybe I'll wear Dayna's jumper when I leave Australia since it will be very chilly here.
Found I have a choice between the Airbus flying direct from Melbourne to Dubai or the Boeing that has a stop in Singapore. Bit dearer to go by Airbus both ways but I remember that getting off at Singapore for an hour then reboarding with hand luggage was a pain so I might try the Airbus. I'll check the Bendigo Airport bus times before I book since that's the most convenient way to get there.
Dayna has booked a flight to Spain for my birthday so that will be exciting.
